# Install ARGUS Research with skills.sh

Run the command in the project where you use your assistant. Requires Node 22+ and network access to npm, GitHub and argusx.fun. CLI version 1.7.2 was tested. These commands install only ARGUS Research into the current project, using copied files; they do not start an AI model, subscribe an email address or create a schedule.

## Codex

```sh
npx --yes skills@1.7.2 add wp3xpp/argus-skill --skill argus-research --agent codex --copy --yes
```

Result: `.agents/skills/argus-research/`. Invoke `$argus-research` with your request. Reload the assistant session if the skill does not appear.

## Claude Code

```sh
npx --yes skills@1.7.2 add wp3xpp/argus-skill --skill argus-research --agent claude-code --copy --yes
```

Result: `.claude/skills/argus-research/`. Invoke `/argus-research` followed by your request.

## Other agents

```sh
npx skills@1.7.2 add wp3xpp/argus-skill --skill argus-research
```

Choose the client and project scope in the CLI. This interactive command is offered for the CLI's supported clients; it does not claim that every client was individually tested. HTTP-only agents can use https://argusx.fun/openapi.json.

## Verification

On 2026-10-13, both client-specific commands completed in separate isolated projects. Installed instructions matched, and each installed helper successfully read the dated PMI new-orders series and an Arthur Hayes article from the live public API. This verifies installation and helper execution, not a new Claude model session. Existing user-wide skills were untouched.

skills.sh uses anonymous public-repository installation telemetry for indexing/ranking; these were two real compatibility installs, not simulated install counts. Users may disable telemetry with `DISABLE_TELEMETRY=1` before the command if they prefer. Installation remains possible without submitting installation statistics.
